Charm and privacy await you in your darling beach cottage from days gone by. Englewood Beach is on Manasota Key, an 8-mile long unspoiled sandy beach on Florida's South Gulf coast. A piece of Old Florida, the beach has been protected from high rises and large resorts such as in Sarasota to the north and Ft Meyers and Naples to the South. While in a quiet beach community, it has its share of restaurants and is only 15 minutes from Venice with its charming downtown. Only half a mile on the beach headed south you reach the nature trails and bird watcher's delights of Stump Pass State Park. Relax on your own beach-away-from home and enjoy swimming year round, beach walks and sunset views. Stroll the beach for great shell collecting and fossilized shark teeth. Fishermen can enjoy surf fishing from the beach or boating from Lemon Bay located walking distance from the house. An outside shower is available on the beach side. Umbrellas, beach chairs and water toys are stored under the stairs for the pleasure of the guests. Free Washer and Dryer conveniently located on premises. Car ports and parking for up to 4 cars available on the property. The property has two units which can be rented separately. The upstairs, Soul's Rest, is a one bedroom/one bath unit with Gulf view from every room. The lower unit, Heart's Desire, is at beach level with its own on-the-beach deck and private beach. It has two bedrooms plus a Studio/3rd room in addition to the living room, bath and kitchen. Both units are equipped with wireless internet.
